Get ready for the most hilarious and chaotic event of the season! The first Sunridge Dummy Downhill is here. This is your chance to showcase your engineering (and artistic) skills by building a "dummy" to launch down the ski hill. Whether it soars with grace or ends in a spectacular wipeout, it’s all about the thrill of the wreck!
Official Event Rules & Guidelines
To ensure everyone has a blast and stays safe, all entries must adhere to the following regulations:
Size Constraints: Dummies must be under 6 feet (1.8 meters) in height.
Weight Limit: The maximum allowable weight for a dummy is 100 lbs (45 kg).
Weight Materials: You may use weights to help your dummy gain momentum, but gravel and dirt are strictly prohibited.
Safety First: No batteries, flames, fire, fireworks, glass, or sharp objects are allowed on the dummy.
Naming Rights: Dummy names must be family-friendly and suitable for public announcement and publication.
Logistics: Teams are solely responsible for transporting their dummies to the top of Harold's Way.
The Clean-Up: What goes down must be picked up! Teams are responsible for the total cleanup of all dummy parts and debris after their run.
Build it. Launch it. Wreck it!
Organizers' Discretion: Event organizers reserve the right to disqualify any dummy deemed unsafe or that fails to follow these guidelines.
